Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is the illegal trade of humans for the purposes of forced labor, sexual exploitation, or other forms of coercion. It involves the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, or receipt of individuals through the use of force, fraud, or deception, often targeting vulnerable populations such as the impoverished, marginalized, or those in conflict zones. Human trafficking is a violation of human rights and is considered a serious crime in many jurisdictions. It undermines the dignity and freedom of individuals and can occur within countries or across international borders. Traffickers may use both psychological manipulation and physical violence to control their victims, making it difficult for them to escape or seek help.
