Baseball

Baseball is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams, typically consisting of nine players each. The game is played on a diamond-shaped field, with four bases arranged in a square. The objective is for the batting team to score runs by hitting a ball thrown by the pitcher and running around the bases to reach home plate, while the fielding team tries to prevent runs from being scored by getting batters or runners out. The game is divided into innings, with each team having a turn to bat and a turn to field. The team with the most runs at the end of the game wins. Baseball is known for its unique terminology, strategies, and traditions, and is often referred to as America’s pastime.
